Věra Ondrašíková + Ikue Mori
Věra Ondrašíková graduated from Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Choreography) and Fine Arts. In 2005 she was awarded the “Most Outstanding Dancer” prize at the festival Masdanza (Spain). Also nominated for „Dancer of the Year“ at the Czech Dance Platform Festival. 2010-13 she worked in Germany, having a residency at Tanzplan Dresden, Steptext Bremen, T.M.A. Hellerau). 2013 she choreographed Vaclav Havel’s Anticodes at the New Scene of The National Theatre in Prague. Věra has led workshops for many companies such Laterna Magica, Prague Chamber Ballet, Archa Theatre and countless others in Germany, Spain, Mexico and UK (BeNext).
Ikue Mori moved from Tokyo to New York in 1977 and formed band DNA with Arto Lindsay and started playing drums. Since 1990s she started using electronics and has collaborated with numerous musicians and artists throughout the US, Europe and Asia, while continuing to produce and record her own music. Ikue won the Distinctive Award for Prix Ars Electronics Digital Music in 1999 and shortly after started to expand her vocabulary not only playing sounds but create and control the visuals as well.
